The Staff and volunteers at StableStrides don’t come to work every day looking for awards and recognition – but it sure is nice when someone else notices your good work. That’s exactly what happened when StableStrides was recognized not once, but twice in the annual Colorado Springs Business Journal’s Best in Business 2022. StableStrides was recognized with second place in the Nonprofit Organization category and third place in the Best Nonprofit Event category, for Miracles in Motion.
The cool thing about these awards is that they are voted on by the community. Thousands of people logged in and voted for their favorites in dozens of categories. Colorado Springs is home to hundreds of nonprofit organizations, and it seems that there is a nonprofit event ever night of the week, so being recognized as one of the best is quite an honor.
When you do the right things for the right reasons, people notice. And this year, the whole community noticed. On behalf of the StableStrides Board, I want to say congratulations to our award-winning staff and volunteers!
